Analysis on the Influencing Factors of Driving Behaviours Based on Theory of Planned Behaviour

Driving behaviour is a complex and multidisciplinary research domain, bad driving behaviours that threaten the safety of road users should be refrained. In order to better educate, manage, restrain driver’s behaviours, from perspective human factors psychology, present study deconstructed based on theory planned (TPB) into five categories: mistakes (Mis), lapses slips (LaS), violations (Vio), experience (Exp), attitude awareness (SAA). According today’s practical traffic rules conditions in China, questionnaire was built as an analysing tool survey data were collected accordance with demographic Chinese drivers. Furthermore, analysis model contains aforementioned categories established by using structural equation (SEM). Through path results among latent variables manifested variables, it found Exp has impact Vio LaS, SAA can inhibit Mis. conclusion, prime aim improving reduce means educating drivers’ SAA. Moreover, LaS Mis are transition processes which corrected timely prevented continuing evolve Vio.
